What are the benefits of the medicinal ingredient in Myoflex® ?
Medical ingredient triethanolamine salcylate provides temporary relief of aches, and pains of muscles and joints associated with backache, lumbago, strains, bruises, sprains and arthritic or rheumatic pain, pain of tendons and ligaments.
Can I use Myoflex® if my tube is expired?
No, please discard any tubes that have expired. You can find the expiry date on the side of the box below the lot number.
Is Myoflex® a steroid?
Myoflex® does not contain any steroids.
Can I use Myoflex® on my child?
Use as directed. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.
What warnings are associated with Myoflex®?
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Use only as directed. For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor. KEEP THIS AND ALL OTHER DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
If a rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If pain persists for more than 7 days or redness is present, or if symptoms recur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact the Poison Control Centre immediately. Do not use if allergic to salicylates, or if you are taking anticoagulant medication. Protect from excessive heat or freezing. Close cap tightly. Do not use if glued carton ends are broken or missing.
